Miranda Memorial Academy
Pastor Monica had a vision she felt was from God; to return to her home village in Uganda and start a school on some property her family owned. So with the support of Church Of Praise she left the comforts of America and returned to her village which is 100 miles from the nearest town! Sometimes there's power, sometimes not but she is dedicated to the mission God has given her, along with her family.
Miranda Memorial Academy is a school dedicated to improving the quality of life and education of the children of Uganda. Dedicated in August of 2009; we have 160 students. We teach grades from nursery one to primary seven.
Pastor Monica along with the teaching staff teach not only the fundamentals of education but also hygiene along with spiritual instruction of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We have underprivileged children and orphans as part of our student make up. Our support comes from Church Of Praise and her friends dedicated to helping those less fortunate.
